How to recognise a worn battery
Your battery lasts a fraction of the day, the device shuts down although it still shows charge, or it charges more slowly than before. A swollen battery that pushes the housing out is a clear warning sign.
A symptom can have other causes too – the diagnosis on the device shows what is really broken.
What the repair involves
We replace the old battery with a new matching battery. The device is opened, the old cell is removed carefully and the new one fitted. Afterwards we check that the device charges and holds charge properly again.
What to bring
Your device and, if you know it, the model name. A swollen device should not be used further; bring it in as soon as you can.
These points are practical tips, not a promise by the shop.
How you get a price
There is no fixed price for a battery replacement. The price is given after diagnosis. Call us or bring the device to the shop.
Questions? Tell us what is wrong with the device
A phone call or a short email is enough. With the device, the brand and the symptom we can usually already say on the phone what makes sense.
